About Petra
Petra lives and has her studio in Clipsham, Rutland. She creates contemporary functional ceramics using traditional techniques and likes her pots to be simple in form.
She studied Creative Craft at Peterborough City College, completing the Level 4 NCFE Certificate in 2014.
All of her work is wheel-thrown and fired to over 1200 degrees Celsius in an electric kiln. Petra develops and makes her own range of glazes.
Petra sells her work through outlets in Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire and is a member of Anglian Potters and Peterborough Artists Open Studios, Northants & Rutland Open Studios as well as the Craft Potters Association.
